PC World 101 Fabulous Freebies.

I’ve been marketing on the Internet for 10 years. I am sure there’s many deafies that are more proficient in Internet Marketing than I am. What I love to do is read on what’s the LATEST SEO strategies. I’ve signed up with many marketers lists and see what product they’re pushing. And this is the sad conclusion. A lot of products they’re pushing to help with your website get better ranking are either expensive, full of crap, or BOTH! It’s like “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine”. So those marketers are making money. And the customers that bought the products? Ain’t making money, that’s for sure! Because by the time they’ve purchased the products, Google changes the rule and then makes it hard to get the products to work.
As for me, I’d rather learn from experts that Walk the Talk, than those marketers pushing each others products. And now I’m a member of a very exclusive search engine marketing forum and am getting the latest information from those “in the trenches”. It’s very exciting time, and very challenging. But trust me, the money’s there. Want to earn over $10,000 a month? It’s realistic. Just have to know HOW to do it! And, which experts to listen from!
What does an Internet Marketer do? Create website that will show up on search engines such as Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc.
There’s tremendous competition for keywords. Take a look at “deaf” on Google. Today there’s over 72 million websites! As of today my website is #36. I’ve had it fluctuate between #21 and #41. Deafbiz.com has been online for 10 years and the best it can do is #21. If you start your website today, how long will it take to reach the top 40?
Today, it gets much, much harder to not only have your website
recognized on Google, but in fact for Google to know you have a
website! (this is called indexing). How can you tell if your website is in Google? type site:yourdomain
And why do we create websites? To advertise our business. To promote our non-profit organization. For me - it’s to make money!
How can my websites make money? Enticing people to click on Google Adsense or other PPC ads or click on Clickbank products to purchase, or click on Amazon.com to earn commission on sales, etc.
Supposed you just want to make money 7/24. Websites can do that for you, no problem. That’s a great deaf dream, right?
Problem is getting people to find your website, and then getting people to click or buy from your website.
And now there’s a new problem - the earnings per website have dropped from dollars a day to pennies a day!
So instead of building 1 website earning $10 a day, now you’ll need to create 300 websites earning $1 a day. From what I’m reading on Search Engine forums (and especially from a members-only exclusive Search Engine board), Google is on a warpath aggressively deleting websites and blogs that were created for the sole purpose of enticing visitors to click and buy. Funny thing is that the same thing happened to Google - they deleted their own blog
So, do you have time to create 300 websites? That’s 300 domains to find and register, 30 templates to create (10 websites per template to avoid what’s called “Google footprint”. If you have 300 or 3000 of the same template with different keywords and domains, Google will figure out what template you use and zap ALL your websites from the index.)
So how can you make money 7/24 and stay ahead in the race vs. Google? At this point, creating 100 websites a day isn’t enough! It’s time to THINK BIG! Can you imagine creating 1 million pages a day? Can you imagine the INCOME from 1 million pages a day? Would you like to learn how to do this? If you’re willing and understand basic html and php coding and have a little bit of money to spare every month, let’s talk. Or better yet, visit this website.
I am seeking only two deaf Internet Marketers to work with me on this. Membership is capped at 500. When 500 is reached, this exclusive club is closed and my link will be taken down. Don’t wait too long!
That didn’t take long. Membership is capped. Oh well.

I do not know if the latest chapter is real or not but when someone’s missing, well… it’s kinda hard not to notice.

If you have time on your hand, visit del.icio.us/popular (better yet, bookmark it on your RSS reader). This list points out popular websites that people are talking about.
I just took a quick peek at the del.icio.us/popular this morning and first thing on the list was “Open Source Windows”.
It’s a very easy, graphical, eye-candy website listing free software to use on Windows XP.
I can vouch for this legitimacy because I use Firefox as a browser and Filezilla for FTP.
If you need a word processor or an office suite, forget spending a fortune on MS Office. Use OpenOffice instead. It’s just as good as the real thing!
I’m gonna have fun trying other free software on the list.

Free 166 page 2006 Consumer Action Handbook (.pdf)
It includes contact info for Better Business Bureaus, Corporate Consumer Offices, Car Manufacturers and Resolution Programs, etc.
You can download the whole book, or just the sections you need.
Very handy to have it saved to your computer or you can order a hard copy
Just good advice (and many are common sense advice) on how to help you become a savier consumer and not get ripped off.
