Remember AllAdvantage? Well, it’s baaaaack!

This is making the rounds in the money-making blogs so thought I’d pass it along here.

If you remember AllAdvantage, you installed a surfbar and let it run and you get paid while surfing.

It crashed along with the Internet Bubble.

Now the same players have set it up again and hopefully learned what went wrong the first time around.

Right now, the only thing you can do is sign up until the viewbar is released from beta-testing.

I did AllAdvantage and got paid, so I’m going to give this easy money a whirl.

Check it out here:

Would appreciate if you can sign up using my link. If you do and need assistance, I’ll help you.

Capital One Hates Deaf People

Capital One Hates Deaf People

Why? Because a deaf person filled out an application for a credit card and ran into relay services hell. (Something that I’ve experienced myself as well).

Holy crap. Just went through hell trying to finalize my application for a credit card when they wouldn’t even accept the relay calls for some reason and kept shuffling me around. I have never been so ANGRY before. Apparently, they don’t like dealing with deaf people!

Here’s another reason not to have a Capital One card:

Capital One’s Credit Trap

“Cap One… is simply aiming to maximize fee income from debtors who may be less sophisticated and who may not have many options because of their credit history. By offering several cards with low limits, instead of one with a larger limit, the odds are increased that cardholders will exceed their limits, garnering over-limit fees. Juggling several cards also increases the chance consumers may be late on a payment, incurring an additional fee. And if cardholders fall behind, they pile up over-limit and late fees on several cards instead of just one. “How many more ways can I fool you?” says Elizabeth Warren, a Harvard Law School professor who has written extensively on the card industry. “That is all this is about.”

I Hate (fill in the blanks) Network Marketers So Much

This was written by an Indian living in Northern California, but subsitute “Indian” for “Deaf” and it’s a pretty good description of what MLM does in the deaf community.

I Hate Indian Network Marketers So Much

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think all Network Marketing (MLM) is bad. I’m in one myself. However I don’t go out recruiting my deaf friends and associates and I do earn a check every month.

There’s a lot of information about MLM (good, bad and ugly) so I’m not going to be the first place to ask. Read the blogs and MLM forums and find out for yourself.

Deaf Community Targeted By Scam, Again

I’ve added a new category in Deaf Resource Center : Deaf Scams

I’m starting with a link to the ABC7 report because it merits a permanent status in the directory.

In the past, I used to run information on Deaf Scams in the past until I got threatened and removed the information.

So this time, let someone else do the reporting and I’ll just plug in the link.

But here’s a basic rule of thumb: If you know of a person promoting different and the latest MLM venture, run the other way. Successful people stick with only ONE MLM, not join and drop and join and drop. It takes TIME and COMMITTMENT to build a business!

I’m not anti-MLM. I’m a rep for Cognigen and I have a link on the home page. But I’ve been with Cognigen for years and it shows because it’s still paying me every month!
