Deaf and ASL Videos on Google

posted in Current Affairs, Deaf, Hearing Loss, Technology, deaf culture, sign language |

This is what we’ll be seeing more in the future.
Instead of inserting videos in email (and hogging the bandwidth), just send the link and watch the videos!

I’ve used the search terms “deaf”, “asl”, “sign language”

With luck you’ll see some well-known oldies!

    Check out http://www.youtube.com

I like it — very easy to upload and open to public instantly. There’s few deaf video already. (Search = deaf) Someone actually copy most of the Deaf Mosaic (old TV show from 80s) into YouTube. It even have CC on it.

They seems to be easy to setup than Google Video, too.
