The protesters made a big mistake against Jane Fernandes. I just know that all the followers who marched to the capital just wanted to feel the thrill and were sadists to see a deaf and intelligent losing her job.
The celebration was sickening to the public.

I think it makes alot of sense. Here you have the faculty majority voting against JKF and some students as well. In the mean time the students are complaining that the professors are not fluent in ASL and are not qualified to be there. What the Heck are they protesting about? It apprears they should be protesting agaist each other.
The federal government subsidizes this university at the tune of a cool 100 million. The students and the professors due not run the university but somehow believe its their right.
This school will be shut down if the ridiculous protesting occurs every time a new president is appointed. If the students who are there for an education can;t get it because of the selfishness of the mob, their really is no reason to keep it going. It will be a sad day!

I think you need to do your research. Both the president and president-designate at Gallaudet University are Deaf. Students are not pushing for discrimination against them at all. They’re pushing for a proper search process and for the president-designate, a proven failure at leadership, to resign. Do your homework.
